St Aubin limestone is the most popular of the light stone floors.
It is an off white with greyish clusters of tiny shells.
This is available in nice big sizes as seen here in 900 x 600mm which is available on special order, but standard sizes are 600 x 400 x 15mm, 600 x 600 and 900 x 600 x 15mm

Stone flooring is much easier to maintain than many would have you believe. It is advisable not to use traditional bathroom cleaners and scourers, but instead a mild ph soap. There are specialist soaps available such as Easy Care but many supermarkets now supply a Marseilles type soap for use on natural materials such as limestone, marble and wood.
